The first 7 sessions of the 9-month Retreat “Partners in Ministry and Spirituality” held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church continues its study of Scripture, Fran Ferder’s book “Words Made Flesh” linking both to the “Documents of Vatican II”. Short presentations by Sisters Pat Kay and Ray facilitate the table and group discussions that build on the reading and journaling done between sessions. Session 5 featured Guest Speaker Larry Schieffer on Ch 3 and 4 in Ferder’s book “Word Made Flesh”

Session 7 on Forgiveness and Healing featured Fr. Warren Murphy, Dorene Rose and Jim Hickey speaking on Ministry with Gay and Lesbian and there Family’s.

Everyone is looking forward to the remaining session and the Retreat at Glen Rose and looking ahead to finishing with a deeper understanding of their own spirituality, scripture and the Catholic Church
