PARTNERS IN MINISTRY 2008-2009
OFF TO A ROARING START!
August and September saw some 50 (35 in Fort Worth, 15+ in Bedford)
people begin what we all hope will be a good year of prayer, study and perhaps
“paradigm shifting.” Partners has
already been that sort of experience for some of these folks, as these “random
evaluations” indicate.
(These comments were under the heading: Anything else you want to
say?)
“The hours spent here today
have been very helpful, not only to further my knowledge, but to help me during
a very stressful time in my private life.”
“Today was GREAT, and each
time I leave with more and more interesting facts and more ideas to think
about.”
“I was inspired and in awe of
the universe ever expanding. I’m just a
‘speck in God’s eye’ – yet I still feel His love and direction. Great job putting this across!”
“I am sitting in a church in
Texas on Earth, whirling around the sun which is moving at an impossible speed
away from everything, and you want me to SAY something??? Stick with me, God.”
“I’m a convert and I find
this all very enlightening. Thank you.”
“I see and feel the ‘comfort
and respect’ at our gatherings.”
“I was surprised that Vatican
II encouraged laity to cooperate with other Christians and non-Christians. This inclusive approach toward all our
brothers and sisters validated my own feelings.”
